Candles in the wind

Description

I created this magical work during my residency at the Box Hill Baptist Church. I felt so spiritually connected while making it and researching what religion and spirituality can look like to everyone across the world. This work is specifically a tradition with monks, where they light candles on the water. It is made with a mixture of acrylic paint and oil pastels.
